Thank goodness the doctor didn't ask me if I was sticking to my diet, because I haven't been very faithful to it. At least I don't weigh any more than I did last week.
Besides my weight and the fact that my feet are swelling to ungodly, painful proportions, (they really should warn pregnant women about this symptom more) I'm excited about being so close to Baby's due date. The doctor says that I only have two and a half more weeks to go before I'll have a little monster to take care of, and these two and a half weeks will certainly be busy.
In my last post, I mentioned the horror convention that Aaron and I will be attending to hawk TimAndBen merchandise to Texans playing "Zombie and Survivor". We realized that with a baby nearly here and Aaron's work at the tech camp ending for the summer, our budget for traveling to San Antonio for that weekend will be rather tight. In order to offset some of the cost, I'm going to be using some scraps of fabric left over from dolls and some special print fabric that I have lying around to make tea wallets. The tea wallets will have the capacity for 4 sealed packets of tea (we'll be including organic oolong inside), and will cost $5 each, and hopefully we can sell enough to cover at least the gas cost of driving to San Antonio.
I adore the fabric that I'm using. I found some circus red and white striped cotton that I had lying around, and I'm also going to be using the "kawaii" prints I got off of etsy. I'd never heard of tea wallets before a few days ago, but I love the idea of being able to carry my tea with me without the packages getting rumpled or torn. I'm hoping that people will notice that they're perfect as mini wallets as well.
Well, that's it for tonight's post. Tomorrow, I'm going to share this nifty website with y'all for a horror themed shop in the UK, so be sure to meet me here. Same time, Same place.
