Today, I went with Aaron's mother and sister to Katy Mills Mall to get some much needed walking done, and to look at baby clothes.
By the way, I am having a baby.
He is due on August 21, and ohgodit'salreadyAugustfirstIamnotready. He's kind of heavy and also sort of a jerk, punching and leaning forward away from my belly when ever he pleases.
Baby clothes are really cute and tiny, but Aaron and I haven't decided what outfit we want to take him home in yet. I have a few ideas that I think Aaron will really like, so I'll keep it a surprise until then.
Doctor's appointment tomorrow; last week they said the baby was 6 pounds and that I should go on a diet, no carbs or sugar, so I've been trying to watch my intake of those.
We don't plan on putting any newborn photos on Facebook, so family and friends will be directed over here if they want to see the little worm, and will have to travel all the way out here to Cypress if they want to see me all disheveled and worn out.
In October, there is a horror convention in San Antonio called Zombicon that TimAndBen Dolls and Design will have a booth at, selling our hand sewn dolls and monster prints. If you can go, I hope that you'll stop by and say hello!
I'm working on special zombie dolls (both 'art dolls' with dried gore and 'kid friendly dolls' with no hard or detachable parts), Halloween themed dolls, and more authentic looking voodoo dolls for the con, with lots of art projects on the side to experiment with.
As a last note, I just opened my fortune cookie from Panda Express and it reads: "A great day lies in the not too distant future."
Which is funny, because Panda Express totally predicted the baby two weeks before Aaron and I knew.
