Intro Post, Number Dos

Hello everyone! Aaron here, part deaux of the Quiet Fanatics blogging writer team. I enjoy spooky stuff, scary stuff, and everything in-between (almost nothing). Since I'm bad at introductions, I am choosing instead to ramble. I am going to do that a lot, so I hope you like words!

Of all the spooky, scary things that exist on this earth, some of my absolute favorites are cryptids. Cryptids have always been an interest of mine, they're one of the things that brought me and Megh together, and they are undoubtedly something I am going to be making my baby dress up as on a regular basis. For the uninformed, a cryptid is an animal that has been supposedly sighted or suggested to exist, but isn't accepted by the scientific community. Notable cryptids are the Sasquatch, the Loch Ness Monster, the Yeti, and so on. But there are many, many more cryptids than that, and most of them are also completely impossible. Cryptid and UFO theorists often overlap, and some cryptids are sometimes theorized to be aliens. I like cryptids because they're fun to think about, but more feasible than UFOs. The feasibility can make it more scary and fun.

I'm going to be bringing cryptids up a lot, and probably working on some designs involving them, so I thought it would be good to have this post first. Cryptids hold a special place in my heart, because of the sense of adventure and the unknown they instill, and because it's something Megh and I share. I hope that I'll be able to get a few readers interested in them as well.
