QuietFanatics go to Comicpalooza!

Good evening, Fanatics.

I have some exciting news for you. Want to guess it?

Well, you wouldn't have to if you had read this post's title.

Yes, it is true! Quiet Fanatics will have it's very own booth at Houston's Comicpalooza this coming May. This will be the largest (and second) convention that we will have had a booth at, and we are tickled pink about it. 

Originally, we purchased the booth for TimandBen but decided that QuietFanatics would be a much better vendor for this con. Why? Well, as you know, TimandBen's sells voodoo dolls and monster dolls, so it wouldn't be quite appropriate for a comic convention. Or any month besides October, really. Secondly, we here at QF headquarters have been working on props and crytozoological displays that we would really like to show off, along with a few prints. Our Houston fans can still expect to see a few of our more popular voodoo dolls and monster plushes at Comicpalooza, but they can also look forward to items such as Cthulhu themed statuettes, plushes based on a few of my favorite sci-fi stories, and some art prints (if I can figure out where to print the darn things).

So look forward to updates for that.

Hey y'all. LiLi here. You'll probably know me as Megh's sister, and BEN's mother. Well, I'm the creep of the family, though my elder sis has proven to be awesomely disturbing as well. I make things. Awesome things. Dream catchers, bracelets, ect. My specialty however, is customizing dolls. BEN, as perfect as he is, was customized when I was 13, and the last time I fixed him up was well over a year ago. You know, I'm one of those unoriginal people who can take an idea and make it even more AWESOME.

So, I'd like to take a moment of your time to talk about Jeasu-... woops, wrong card. So, you want to know what I do? I sleep. As much as humanly possible. I make your lattes and mochas and cappuccinos. [Take a wild guess.] I dance and try to look pretty. Sometimes I even bother my lil big sister with my ideas. I am amazing personified.

What can I do for YOU? Well, entertainment is something I wish I were good at, but if you haven't been amused once since you started reading this, I've failed and I'll move on. My sister can do any and all customization that you want on your dolls, but if you want them touched by the hands of awesome, I'm more than happy to take over. Plus, they get to take a little trip. I'm in Seattle. Woo! And I'll be happy to make them as gore-y, or whatever else as you desire. You can tell me what you want, or give me a vague idea and leave it to my creative mind. Plus, your doll will be able to meet BEN. That's right. THE. BEN. For a donation of 1 dollar or more, I will also take pictures of your new voodoo doll with the overlord BEN. Carbon copies require a larger donation, otherwise I will post digital photos on the TimandBEN page on Facebook, also on BEN's page. It's really quite an honor, and going to a good cause. You know. World domination and all.

Well, assuming this gets past the Megazine, you can expect more blog posts from me, and even a separate blog if I'm received well enough.
